A 5-year-old child died Saturday when the vehicle they were riding in slammed into a wall on North Central Expressway in North Dallas, police say.
Dallas Police were called to the single-vehicle crash at about 10 p.m. in the 13700 block of North Central Expressway, near Spring Valley Road.
The preliminary investigation determined that the car hit the wall, according to a release.
The driver and a child were transported to a local hospital, where the child died. The driver's condition remains unknown.
It was not clear what caused the driver to hit the wall and Dallas Police said the crash is under investigation.
